Privacy notice

This notice explains how TakeoffSprint handles information for its browser workspace and optional done-for-you takeoff service.

Browser workspace

Your PDF, PNG, or JPEG plan and its markup data are processed and saved locally in this browser so you can return to the project on the same device. When you use only the browser workspace, plan files, drawing images, markup coordinates, and category labels are not intentionally uploaded to TakeoffSprint or sent to our analytics service. Clearing this site's browser data removes the locally saved project.

Done-for-you service intake

If you request the done-for-you service, the plan share links and intake information you submit are sent to TakeoffSprint. Intake information may include your name, email address, company, trade, requested scope, deadlines, notes, and other details needed to evaluate and fulfill the project. Files available through a share link may be downloaded and reviewed for that purpose.

We may share plan files, links, and relevant intake details with vetted service providers solely to evaluate, complete, review, and deliver your requested takeoff. We do not sell this information or authorize a service provider to use it for its own marketing.

Usage analytics

We record product events such as landing-page visits, upload success or failure, calibration, first annotation, value moments, export, checkout start, and verified purchase. Events may include device information, coarse file type and size buckets, sheet counts, timing, advertising attribution, and error codes, but not your plan content or category labels.

Email follow-up

If you choose to save your email after trying the preview, we store the address with limited advertising attribution and funnel context so we can follow up about TakeoffSprint. We do not sell this information.

Payments

Payment details and related customer and transaction information are collected by Stripe on its hosted checkout. TakeoffSprint does not receive full card numbers. Stripe sends TakeoffSprint limited payment information so we can confirm payment, provide the purchased service, and address refunds or payment questions. After Stripe verifies a software-workspace payment, this site stores a secure browser cookie that unlocks that workspace for 30 days.

Retention and security

We retain service intake, plan links or files, communications, and delivery records for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and fulfill the project, provide the correction period, handle payment or support issues, prevent misuse, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. We then delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, although limited copies may remain temporarily in backups or logs.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to this pilot. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Do not submit plans containing personal, classified, export-controlled, or similarly restricted information.

Your choices

You can clear a locally saved browser project through your browser's site-data settings. To request access to or deletion of information sent to TakeoffSprint, use the support form. We may need to retain limited information when required for security, payment, dispute, or legal recordkeeping purposes.
